Welcome to Heard Around the Hydrant, a cozy corner of the blogosphere written especially for people who love little dogs by someone who… loves little dogs.

We exist to help you care for your small or toy breed dog so he or she can live as long as possible.

Here you’ll find helpful tips on small-dog care, breed features, children’s book reviews, and plenty of “Moements” from Moe himself which will be featured in our newsletter of the same name.

One of the breed features includes Breed of the Month, which will highlight one of these precious gems every month. that’s why it’s called Breed of the Month.

Whether you share your life with a tiny sidekick or simply enjoy the world from a small-dog point of view, why not pull into a spot by the hydrant and stay awhile? Your pup can do whatever is appropriate. (wink, wink)
